Lovely clean lodge in a great location on a nice site, close to St Ives and many other great places
7.0Lovely lodge clean and spacious inside nice balcony and not too close to other lodges nicely spaced out over looking grass, lovely location on site. Nice and quiet, pleasant site, we stayed an extra night and reception were very helpful with accommodating this. The take away pizzas from restaurant was nice. We used it as a base for visiting different areas of cornwall and didn't use the pool or club entertainment. The lodge was the best part of our holiday. The site is close to the St Erth station where you can catch the train into St Ives just 5 mins away, lots of lovely places nearby.
− We were surprised that the shop was often shut which is odd for July which is hardly out of season. We went to get some groceries on the Saturday morning to find the shop shut and it was also shut on another occassion during the day, this was annoying when you just want some milk. The restaurant was ok but the outside eating area was a bit run down. We were surprised they don't do a breakfast or lunch option. The lodge was amazing apart from the boiler was not working when we arrived so we tried to ring reception on and off for a hour or so but there was no answer, luckily my partner worked out how to fix it.

6.0There are so many activities for kids. It’s good for kids to enjoy swimming too.
− It was out of supplies of water one of the night. We can’t bath or even no tap water to clean hands etc. I was expected the gold caravan newly furnished however it seems not.

− It had a lot of insects and spiders because of the plants outside. Maybe that needs to be clean. The property had few spider webs which is not pleasant.
Overall, the stay was really nice and we both enjoyed our stay!

− The place we stayed in wasn’t the cleanest and it was riddled with spiders
