8.0Great cute place up the hill within a short walk/ski to the nearby small ski resort called Galsterbergalm (Small but uncrowded - one fabulous wide open slope and a few other runs, no lift lines). Gerhard and Gudrun were very nice. The Hirzhof (name of the farm/group of apartments) is a ways up the hill. In snowy weather 4 wheel drive or chains may be needed. We have winter tires, didnt use the chains. Ask how to sort the recycling if you are not used to the Austrian system. We had the 70 SQ m apt - no neighbors in the bldg - very nice. Not new - but in very good shape and very clean. Well appointed kitchen. As usual with Austrian apartments - bring your own soap. Also bring towels - or agree ahead of time with Gerhard regarding whether they will provide towels.
