Great location for viewing the Tour de France
8.0This is an outstanding location for visiting Southern France - especially for the Tour de France. You are literally on top of the course for the climb up to the Tourmalet - just 2k from the top. I'm sure it's excellent for skiing as well, but that wasn't our objective. The facilities were clean, spacious, but just a tad outdated. Service was excellent and the people were courteous and helpful. Overall a very good place to stay.
− Perhaps just a bit of updating to the decor. If you're a stickler for that, then you may want to find somewhere else to stay, which will likely be at a much steeper price.
For short stays: beds are made on arrival and linen is included (towel kit consisting of 2 large towels; 2 small towels and a bath mat and bed sheets).
Final cleaning is also included except kitchenette and dishes.
For stays of 7 nights or more: included are linen (towel kit consisting of 2 large towels; 2 small towels and a bath mat and all bed sheets) but final cleaning is not included. Rates include access to the heated swimming pool.
A cleaning kit is available at an extra cost.
