Neat flat, great location, shame about the cold shower.

Location was really central and close to Churchill square shopping centre and a short walk to the beach. Cool vibe to the flat.

− No hot water for the shower, this really bugged me. Not many utensils or crockery in the kitchen. Quite warm but difficult to avoid in this weather, they did provide a fan.

Damp and scruffy shower room really let down our stay.

The location of the flat is very good. The layout is good with ample seating. The furniture is quirky and modern.

− There is a big damp patch on the ceiling in the living/bedroom area. The flat smells of damp. There was a nail sticking out of the threshold at the inner door into the lounge, which my husband caught his foot on. (He banged the nail back in). The blinds are broken in places and don’t close properly. The shower room is very poorly maintained. It is scruffy and damp with peeling paint and holes in the walls. When you turn the shower on water comes out of the shower head but also sprays out of the pipe that goes into the shower head. The bathroom door doesn’t fit the frame properly so it scrapes on the tiles and you have to bang it closed. There was a soap dispenser on the small sink but no soap in it. Outside the apartment is a table and two chairs but they are situated by a cupboard that has rotten wood doors, very unappealing. There are no wine glasses. There was no hot water. We switched it on at the boiler and then the shower was so hot it burned and there was no temperature control. The flat has the potential to be lovely but there were too many things that need fixing. A clean and well appointed bathroom is a basic requirement and this didn’t meet the most basic standards.

The place was adequate for what we needed very nice decor and right in centre of town and very close to the beach. impressive location

− Only one half toilet roll was left so was caught short and no others available.

The location - although very central it was quiet. Bed and sofa bed were comfy.

− The tv needs setting up. I started this with connecting the Wi-Fi password but it asked for more. The property is fine for 2 for 1 night but could be small for longer/more people as no wardrobe or rail.
