Great location terrible experience

− The fact my wife has had to spend time in hospital due to incorrectly installed decking which has resulted in her being severely bruised on pain killers and unable to work for the time being

10.0Perfect peaceful getaway in lovely lakeside surroundings, everything there we needed for an away-from-it weekend.
− Just a bit tricky getting hold of anyone in advance to book the advertised activities.
Relaxing getaway
9.0It was a nice stay - facing the lake, comfy bed and BBQ facility. It was such a relaxing getaway to be away from the busy life. The staff were very responsive.
− There's nothing we didn't like. If you look for Watersedge on Sat Nav rather than the post code, it would be easier to find the place.
Ok stay. A few niggles and given rules not followed by other guests.
7.0Quiet area, barely any light polution, great nights sleep. Everything we needed for 2 nights, wouldn't have wanted to stay longer.
− Toilet very uncomfortable to use for anyone over 5ft 8, would benefit from facing the shower instead of facing the door. Flooring as you step out of shower has started to deteriorate, spongey to stand on. Nowhere to hang wet towels. Toiletries in bathroom are eco friendly and a good brand, spoilt by Bayliss & Harding hand soaps - rated poor on apps like Yuka, would expect better from a wellness institution. Received arrival details which said not to park at end of road near accommodation and to offload luggage then return car to main car park. We kindly followed the instruction, then returned on our second night to find all 3 of the other accommodations had parked with no consideration, which made for a noisy night/morning when people were in and out of their cars - why set a rule if you're not going to police it? Also made it difficult to get our car up and turned around when we collected our luggage to check out. Told 2 staff members in the car park on our exit and they really didn't seem to care (the lady actually told us it's better to park up there, especially on a Sunday, So why tell us otherwise?).
