Owner wasn't going to return the deposit

− Owners took almost a month and several phone calls and texts to return my deposit and it wasn't the full amount saying that my dog slept on the bed. If I hadn't called to ask I don't believe he had any intention of returning the deposit. I kept the place clean and tidy. Also the bathroom shower did not feel comfortable or private with a big window and no curtains. Although frosted window you can still see through them enough which I thought was weird not having any blinds. The bathroom also is facing directly towards the owners house which is the house next door in St Albans

8.0I did not realise when booking that this was a private residence with a separate semi self contained accommodation. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I felt safe and secure, welcomed despite the early hour of the morning, and it was clean and comfortable.
