Very good except the oven and even the large frying pan needed to be cleaned better,

− The terrible oven, soooo disappointing as the rest of the house was clean and comfortable. The oven was discussing and a real disappointment, we only needed to heat up our Lasagne for the Saturday night dinner. I realise that oven and BBQ are asked to be cleaned by those staying at this lovely house, but cleaners need to check that these appliances are in good state for new renting people. Such a pity for the owners

Group weekend away was very relaxing.

A lovely house which catered for all our needs.

− No hairdryer was found although it was advertised on the booking site. No extra blankets or pillows were available, and the evenings were cold with only a sheet and a light quilt.
Everything was good and clean except the lights were off in other bedrooms bathroom and toilet

− As we entered the house only the kitchen and main bedroom lights could be turned on. We attempted to contact the owners of Escape by the bay who indicated that they would be in contact of an handyman but no one came by to fix this issue.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
