The flat is perfectly located for all the facilities in this pleasant little town. The large roof terrace provides a shady spot at almost any time of day.

− Unfortunately there are too many minor inconveniences that cumulatively make the place far from satisfactory on a daily basis. The first problem, if you have a 500 euro daily limit, is the insistence on payment in cash. There is no information on how to use things. The first evening we had hot water spilling from the side of the coffee machine, which we then tried to use for tea making but it wasn't hot enough. We had to use a large casserole dish for this (difficult to pour from and a risk of scalding) as there was no kettle or small sauce pan. There is no draining board for washing up, nor laundry basket for transferring wet clothes to the drying rack. Upright chairs on the terrace but no table for al fresco dining - and why the tatty plastic sheet around the glass coffee table top? There are many others, which I shall not list, most of which could be sorted with a little thought, but I have to mention the sharp metal corners on the bedroom window. Unless you have the windows closed, they are difficult to avoid in this small room, as the scars on my wife's arm can testify. Finally, the noisy neighbours who play loud music at all hours less than 2 metres from the bedroom window (until 3.30 a.m. on our last night). This could be a really comfortable place to stay if some thought were put into how guests would use it instead of filling it with fake flowers and old useless furniture.
