I liked the space large living room with kitchen, massive terrace with glass garden area with bbq , pizza oven by swimming pool, also all items needed for cooking were available. Nice private place with parking.

− Its a bit of drive to south of the island 50 min. Water under shower sometimes hot or cold would need adjusting.

La casa es muy rústica y bonita, jardines bien cuidados y en si la finca una pasada. Los colchones muy cómodos, suficientes toallas blancas para todos.

− Que la piscina era de decoración es un cebo puesto que en pleno julio estaba helada a 12/14 grados, teníamos que encender la chimenea para calentarnos dentro de casa, en una semana no salió el sol estábamos por encima de las nubes, la ubicación muy mala, todo cuestas, las más empinadas que he visto en mi vida, menos mal que el dueño vino a buscarnos si no imposible llegar. El termo caliente del baño grande funcionó solo los 2 primeros días, jacuzzi no funcionaba, y en el baño del dormitorio solo se podían bañar dos personas y duchas súper rápidas, no tiene secadora imaginar secar tanta ropa, para poder secar la ropa de 8 personas teníamos que encender las 2 chimeneas con toda la peste a humo, en la bodega de vino habían ratones, no tiene paellera, el wifi no llega habitaciones y la única tv de toda la casa en el comedor no tiene smartv,

Stunning location with wonderful views

What a beautiful place! I spend my vacation there with some friends and we were literally overwhelmed by the beauty and the size of the whole property and we loved it! You can see how much time and love Jose and his team put into everything. Everything went over our expectations, many thanks for that! The only very little downside at this place is its location. Its around 1km above the sea in the mountains above Icod de los vinos. It takes 40-50 minutes by car to get on the TF-1 or in the southern directions. Puerto de la cruz is pretty close tho (30 minutes). Also the temperatures are most times bit lower then on the coast or especially in the south of tenerife. Since its pretty close to the Teide many clouds can gather around the place which makes it colder and more rainy. For us no problem but if you want to have your daily sunbath without leaving the property you might get disappointed. We used the chimneys every day and got the wood for it delivered to the door every morning by an employer. If you seek for privacy and silence on an absolute lovely and huge property with all necessities (including outdoor kitchen and pool) you will be more than happy to book it. For us, it made our vacation perfect and we would love to come again!

The Finca itself is beautiful and the garden and pool was kept in good shape. The gardener always provided enough firewood to at least keep it warm in front of the oven.

− We found mice droppings in all drawers from the child bedroom (No comment from the owner, even though we provided pictures). I guess this mouse trouble is known, as there were everywhere "pest reject" plugs in the sockets. As we arrived it was horrible cold and in combination with the weather, everything was damp. After a few days we found the reason: two windows are missing which caused a horrible draft through the main room (comment from the owner: to prevent condensation). The problem was, that you are not getting the rooms heated with a too weak heating system and beds, towels, toilet paper, (...) stays damp. Comment from the owner: "you have 3 chimneys". Especially over night it got very cold again, as it is quite tough to keep the fire burning while sleeping for overcoming the cold draft.

Finca Los Loros is a very special place, we loved our stay there. The house is spacious, well equiped and beatifully decorated. We loved having so much space just for us, with the big garden and terraces. The pool wasn't very warm as we were visiting in November, but we enjoyed it anyways. Jose is a wonderful host, many thanks for a great holiday!

− The way to Finca is just fine when you follow Jose's instructions.
