Perfect.
10.0The location was ideal for my trip, but I also realise what a good base it is for travelling to nearby towns and interesting sites. The hosts could not have been more friendly and welcoming, including the Springer spaniel and the hens - truly delightful. The annex is perfect for a quiet and very comfortable get away - carefully furnished, with relaxed outdoor seating, French windows, and a simple but all you could want for a stay. The bed, and bed linen, et al, was just what I could have hoped for and I wish I had been able to stay longer - it was a pleasure to be there.

9.0Really enjoyed my stay here. The accommodation is traditional but stylish and modern. Quiet location, comfy bed, lots of space. Got a warm welcome from Jo, Hope the dog and I loved the chickens clucking round the door. Lovely surprise of food basics left for me and those eggs didn’t come from the supermarket 😉

A Peaceful and Comfortable retreat in the Vale of Belvoir!
9.0We loved the peacefulness of the location and the greenery surrounding the annex. The hosts are very thoughtful and ensure you have milk, butter, fresh bread, jam, tea and coffee and free range eggs for your breakfast! Everywhere is clean and comfortable so you can relax straight away. It was also pleasantly warm both night and day due to large french windows (south-facing) off the lounge/dining area, and a big velux ceiling light in the bedroom. The accommodation is full of light and we liked that. The shower enclosure in the bathroom is modern, spacious and has an excellent shower.
− Small thing, but a little shelf beneath the mirror in the bathroom would allow guests to place tooth brushes, and other toiletries down safely, rather than balancing them on the edge of the tiny sink or on the boxed in pipes at skirting level.
