It was in a good location, plenty of pubs/take aways etc nearby. Nice walk around the harbour, only stayed a couple of days, but I think it would be a good base to explore further afield.

− The property was clean and in a good location and was ok for a couple of days. The bed wasn’t very comfortable ( mattress a bit flat), enough crockery, glasses, but not much else- only one large pan, frying pan and Pyrex dish. We ate out/ take away, but it would be difficult to prepare even the simplest meal due to the lack of pots and pans.

Short stay but nice property in location which was good for exploring Whitehaven and the western parts of the Lake Distr

De ruimte en de ligging. Ruime zitkamer, ruime slaapkamer, en een prima uitvalsbasis voor tochten in en naar het lakedistrict.

− Dat we een borg moesten betalen!! Zonder dat Booking ons daarvoor gewaarschuwd had. Pas nadat we geboekt hadden moesten we plotseling een borg betalen. En die pas een week later terugkregen. Er was achterstallig onderhoud. Een kapot handdoekenrekje wat al gemeld was in oktober 2025. Luxaflex was kapot. Er was een vaatwasser maar het dekseltje van het zeepbakje was kapot waardoor hij niet goed schoonmaakte. Verder was er maar 1 wijnglas en verder alleen hele grote bierglazen. Wij hebben alles gemeld en daar bleef het bij. Bij aankomst bleek onze toegewezen parkeerplek bezet. We kregen op ons appen en bellen geen antwoord. De telefoon werd gewoon niet opgenomen. Pas veel later kregen we eindelijk antwoord. Inmiddels hadden wij de auto maar buiten op een lege plek gezet.

Great location every thing is close at hand, bars and decent places to eat , the harbour setting is lovely.

Perfect location in the harbour side and town centre. Onsite allocated parking was great. Having a lift in the building made a big difference when carrying bags in. Very modern decor.

− Leaking boiler caused a musty smell from all the dirty towels placed to absorb it despite every plug socket having an electric air freshener (all different scents) hopefully this gets fixed soon! (I wasn’t informed of this before or during the stay)

Great location close to shops, take aways and the harbour all on the doorstep the flat was clean, free parking underneath was handy.

− The bed was so uncomfortable it is more of a camp bed they need to invest in a good sturdy bed and good mattress. The sofa was fine for short time but not very comfortable the depth is quite narrow not able to relax on it. Also the flat next door can see right into the flat no blinds on a narrow part of the living room window so they can see right into your living room and watch the tv with you.
