− Das Bett war nicht so gut.

4.0The location was good. Great for access to Glen Trool, which is why it's booked
− The static caravan was new and clean ...so new it still had cardboard wrapped around table legs and protective tape on the edges of the kitchen cabinets. It was inadequately provided with everyday items. 3 wardrobes but no coat hangers. Only one window glass. A microwave oven, but no suitable dishes for it. Poor quality cutlery. Balcony doors but no balcony ...only a Warning for Danger notice stuck to the window saying " Do Not Use.". Communication with the booking agent Travel Nest was very poor. No advanced information about our stay or how to check-end
Disappointed, but could easily be rectified.
6.0Location was peaceful, and caravan was spotless.
− It felt like the host had just threw stuff in the property in a hurry, tv tiny, no dish towels, 1 match to light the cooker, no seating area and patio door that weren't allowed to be open as there was around a 2 meter drop. With no guard on the doors.
Hugely disappointing despite nice location
3.0Location was very good for exploring the Galloway Forest Park. Nice green spaces on site, which attract birds and other wildlife.
− Host was non-responsive, which made check-in stressful. Had to go through the intermediary TravelNest to sort things. Property basically had nothing in it - no bin, no oven gloves, no tea towels, no towels. Despite booking a year before travel it was as if we weren't expected.

9.0The location was amazing, so close to so many beautiful trails. I also cannot believe how quiet it was, it really was so peaceful! The hosts were very friendly too :)
− It was a shame the caravan didn’t have a balcony for the dog but there was a patch of grass for her so it wasn’t too bad!
