8.0it was very clean and a cute hostel directly on the beach! the bed was pretty comfortable and you sleep with the sound of the waves which is so relaxing. it is a small hostel and was very quiet during my stay, which i liked because it was super relaxing. the staff is super welcoming and nice! they do have two young kids with them, which didnt bother me because i love kids but if you cant stand kids being kids (laughing loudly, screaming sometimes, crying, etc), that might not be the hostel for you!
− the only thing i found a little less practical was the fact that we cant really use the kitchen to cook because its small which is understandable but yeah i think its better to know that before you get there. also, the location is beautiful, right on the beach, but if you need to go in town, be prepared to have to walk up a pretty abrupt hill! other than those two things, which are not that big of a deal to me, the hostel is a great place
Great experience in Drake Bay
9.0The place is super cool, it is right on the beach in the trees on the edge of the jungle which keeps it not too hot. It is also a minute away from where the boats are leaving for Corcovado national park tours. Margarita and her 2 little girls are super nice. She booked the boat from Sierpe for us. Drake bay is a very little town right between the jungle and the beach we loved it.
− I think you should know that it is not a real hostel, your room is in the same house the family lives in, you’re in their space. You can’t really use the kitchen/fridge as it’s the family kitchen with all their stuff and again you’re in their space. There is only one bathroom. The boat to get there is not cheap, it is 20$ a person each way.
Cozy stay at a beautiful space
8.0Very nice place! Directly on the beach. The hostess was very kind and we could leave our bags when we went to Corcovado National Park.
