7.0Overall the lodge was nice. We had a lot of issues with slow-running drains. One jetted tub wouldn’t hold water when the drain was down. When we arrived, the dumpster was full, so there was no place to put our trash. That was a problem as we had a lot of people and trash bags had to be put outside of the dumpster. We are assuming it was due to the holiday, but it would be nice to arrange for a special pick-up at that time in the future. The lodge was clean, tidy and well-stocked with everything we needed. The housekeeper who met us the week before was lovely. She told us everything we needed to know, she was pleasant and accommodating. Overall, we had a good time and would book again.

8.0Absolutely loved the location and we really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub, even in the 30 degree temps! Very peaceful.
− I would have liked to meet an actual person on site when we arrived to answer a few basic questions about where everything was or how to operate, or at least a notebook with some printed instructions. We had 6 coffee drinkers and neither of the coffee pots worked properly. I called Tuesday morning and was told they would bring a working coffee pot and they never brought one, so we didn’t get to enjoy much coffee. The dishwasher would not work, so we spent a lot of time hand washing dishes as we prepared a lot of food.
