10.0It was perfect for a break. Host very welcoming, accommodation very comfortable, setting stunning. Recommend with out reservation. We particularly enjoyed the walks in the surrounding area and using the tennis court. Recommend without reservation.

10.0Lovely grounds with nice walks nearby. Sanne was a fantastic host – her homemade plum jam, tart, and fresh eggs were all delicious and a nice surprise.
− The kitchen was basic—not ideal for cooking full meals but fine for a weekend stay. The pillows were large and quite firm; a softer, flatter option would have been appreciated.

10.0Beautiful, peaceful venue with stunning views. The Lodge itself was clean and comfortable, with good facilities. Sanne was a wonderful host who provided some thoughtful extra touches.

10.0Sanne is a wonderful host; very welcoming and thanks for all the lovely treats. Stunning location with beautiful gardens and lake. We spent a lovely evening sat by the lake watching the wild life including deer and a buzzard. Recommendations for pubs and places to visit spot on. Very comfy bed and the lodge was very well appointed and equipped. Excellent shower as well. We felt very much at home there.
− Absolutely nothing we would love to stay here again and certainly would if we were in the area again.
