5.0Very well located, only a 3-minute walk from the metro, which makes it easy to get anywhere in the city. The apartment is spacious and well equipped with a fully furnished kitchen, which was a big plus for our stay.
− Unfortunately, check-in was delayed by about an hour. We were informed quite late that the cleaning lady was running behind, which was inconvenient. The building itself isn’t very well maintained, although this is likely outside the hosts’ control. One of the beds is extremely noisy and creaks even at the slightest movement, which is also clearly audible from the other room and quite disturbing at night. Additionally, the toilet and sink were clogged, causing water to come back up when used. The windows are not soundproof at all, so we could hear everything happening on the street, which made it difficult to rest properly. Regarding the neighborhood, there are quite a lot of homeless people and some unsettling situations around. It may feel uncomfortable, especially for women traveling alone. We were told this is fairly typical for Harlem, but it’s worth mentioning
