10.0EkHotel is an off-gridder's dream. They are solar powered. The chickens handle pest control (except they don't eat mosquitos unfortunately) and the goats mow the yard once a week. They have a chef at the ready whenever you want to order food. The family next door sells baked goods. Plus there is a snack shack across the road. If the owner has enough open availability, you can hire him for a private jungle excursion to a secret cenote. The hike is not for the faint of heart but the cave is amazing. The two neighbor girls know multiple languages and were helpful translators. We were sad to leave. We will miss them and everyone else there.
