Lovely old cottage in the heart of Bellingen was perfect for our overnight family stay.

This lovely old cottage in the heart of town was perfect for our family visit. There was plenty of heating to keep us warm and everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the couple of games that were provided.

Location. Space

− The building requires maintenance, cleaning and immediate repairs to wiring, locks, cupboards, blinds, lights, clothing racks. Not good value.

Nothing really,

− The bathroom was in a shocking state — mould in the shower, a dirty screen, and hair left on the floor. The cleanliness overall was completely unacceptable. There were used items left in the dryer, cupboards that smelled strongly of old food, and visible grime throughout, including ring marks on the coffee table. Even the blanket on the sofa appeared dirty, and the entire place had a musty, unpleasant smell. It was like oh well we’ve rented this out for a night renters please vacate for the night Coffee machine provided , however no milk or the little things that’s are expected… Come on owners have you not travelled and rented before… Pillows were the cheapest you can buy, linen was clean, heaters worked. Nothing else I can contribute. For a property charging $325 per night, this is simply not good enough. Basic standards of hygiene and presentation were clearly not met. While the listing delivers on the basics (beds and proximity to town), that is where the positives end. Having travelled extensively, this ranks among the worst accommodations I’ve stayed in. It raises serious questions about whether Booking.com properly vets or monitors the properties listed on its platform. As a former resident of Bellingen, I expected far better. This felt like a complete rip-off. I would not stay here again under any circumstances and will be seeking a refund.

Very comfortable home and very convenient location to the town.

We loved our stay and the Fullhouse served our needs perfectly.

− We needed more hand towels for the bathroom and kitchen. But other than that it was fine.
