Happy days in Curaçao!

This was our fifth trip to Curacao and after staying on the west side of the island the past couple of times, we decided to stay on the more busy east side this time. Villa Blou caught our eye due to the great design inside and out and it did not disappoint. The facilities are good and the rooms large and airy. Kids loved the pool and we enjoyed having breakfast on the large table on the terrace. The cabanas by the pool were luxurious, although it would be nice to have some regular sun loungers as well. Location was great as we could get fresh croissants and bread every morning from the grocery store a minute away by car. Owner and property manager were easy to communicate with and any questions and requests were answered. We notified about the missing wine glasses mentioned in the previous review and a nice set of glasses were brought the next day :) We would recommend booking Villa Blou for a relaxing stay in the Jan Thiel area.

− We knew about the traffic jams affecting getting in and out of Jan Thiel, but still it surprised us how bad it was. We missed not having a barbeque, but this might be changing as owner is planning on building a permanent outdoor grill.

Beautiful Villa in a a great location 😎

Villa Blou was breathtaking! The villa was spacious and beautiful! It had had all the amenities we needed for our entire stay. It was immaculately clean, as was the pool. The view is great and the neighborhood seemed quiet and safe. The location was ideal, we were close to several beaches and downtown areas. The host was very accommodating as was the property manager who met us at the Villa. It was my first private rental experience ( I usually stay at a hotel or resort) and this by far was the best choice for our stay in Curaçao! We plan on visiting again and would 1000 love to stay here again!
