I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve had. To be fair, the apartment itself was clean and looked like the photos. Unfortunately, that’s where the positive aspects ended. The first major issue started at check-in. The access code provided by the host did not work, leaving me unable to enter the building. I had to wait for another resident to open the door for me. When I contacted the host, I was told they were “working on a new code,” but hours passed without a solution. At one point, I was literally told to wait for random people entering or leaving the building so I could follow them inside. That is completely unacceptable for a paying guest. The problems continued throughout the stay. The Wi-Fi never worked. I contacted the host multiple times and was repeatedly told to reset the modem. I followed every instruction given, but the internet never functioned properly. On top of that, the electrical system was unreliable. The bedroom lost power, the lights stopped working, most outlets stopped working, and the bathroom also lost electricity during the stay. Only one outlet remained functional in the bedroom. Whenever I needed assistance, getting in touch with the host was extremely difficult. I called multiple times and my calls were never answered. Responses came slowly through messages, and no real solution was provided. What made the experience even worse was the host’s attitude. After reporting legitimate issues with the access code, Wi-Fi, and electrical problems, I received messages accusing me of “creating problems” and threatening to charge my credit card for damages and energy costs. Fortunately, I documented everything with videos showing the non-working code, electrical failures, and internet issues. I travel frequently and understand that occasional problems can happen. What matters is how hosts respond when those problems occur.

i liked there were two rooms and it has a balcony.

− i didn’t like the cockroaches nor the stains on towels and how the floor had never ever been vacuumed from each time. i found earrings in the bed

Good location

Property is nice and clean with plenty of amenities. Plenty of room for 4 people. Location was a bit concerning at first but we had no problems and it was very easy to get around NYC
