Location is really the only thing this place had going on for it but definitely on street with more run down units than on other streets in the area.

− We were extremely disappointed with this property. Upon arrival, we found the flat to be in unacceptable condition. We were welcomed to the flat by a large pile of trash in front of the front door that we had to step over to get to the key box and open the front door, a strong smell of marijuana throughout the accommodation, and what appeared to be an insect infestation. In the bathroom, there were numerous live insects around the faucet, including what appeared to be flying ants and regular ants, along with piles of dead insects on the floor. We did not feel it was safe or sanitary to stay. It was also immediately apparent that the flat had not been properly cleaned thoroughly before our arrival. While the beds were made nicely, the couch cushions had white stains, the living room floor had clearly not been swept or mopped, as there were cigarette ashes—or what appeared to possibly be marijuana ashes (based on the residual smell of the flat)—scattered across the floor. We contacted the host immediately. Rather than offering alternative accommodations or arranging for the property to be made habitable that day, the only solution offered was to have the cleaning service return **the following afternoon**. This effectively meant we were expected to spend the night in a flat with an apparent insect infestation and unacceptable living conditions, which was not a reasonable solution. As a result, we left immediately and did not stay. The property was not as advertised and was not fit for occupancy in the condition in which we found it. We incurred the stress and expense of finding alternative accommodations at the last minute. I hope the host addresses these cleanliness and maintenance issues before accepting future guests. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend this property.

Great location

− Gas cooker broke, unable to cook for nearly a week. Floor boards were damaged in several places creating trip hazards. Kitchen cupboards were mouldy, anything put in them picked up the smell. So we were unable to use the cupboards. There was no furniture in bedrooms apart from a wardrobe, a side table on each side would have been useful. Owner was in contact, which was useful, but still disappointed overall.

the accommodation was great. there were 8 of us and we had a great time. even though it was raining and cold, the apartment was warm. close to shops, the main street, cafes and the train station with a connection to the center. communication with the owner was perfect.

− we missed a sharp knife and a hairdryer

Excellent flat, plenty of room, would be great for a stay for the city to 20min mainline track.

The property was located right next door to the venue we needed but also a short train ride into Waterloo. Linens and towels were provided, a few extra little touches like, washing products in the kitchen, sanitary products in the bathroom. Both bedrooms have wardrobes, blackout curtains all round (lounge ones would have been better being full length), table and chairs in lounge/diner, tv, washing machine, dish washer, big fridge freezer. The town is approx a 2 minute walk down the alley and there are plenty of shops, a Waitrose and Surbiton train station.

− Not anything I didn’t like like, but a little spruce up would be lovely.
