9.0Lovely position in Ambleside. Great for shops and pubs etc. The garden was lovely for the dog, safe. Nice little cottage with everything you needed plus a parking space (yes it is very tight). Comfortable bed.

− Difficult to find in the dark with a lack of outdoor lighting or house name signs. The house was very cold when we arrived and we found it hard to warm it up. Towels provided were bleach stained and could do with replacing

6.0The location was great in the heart of Ambleside. Close to shops and restaurants.
− Shower was lukewarm which we reported to owners! They suggested turning pressure down but that made no difference! Step up to garden from parking area is dangerous. Probably 18 inch and have to balance your foot on a narrow board. One or two steps should be installed for safety reasons.
