The house was warm and cosy. The beds were very comfortable, although my wife found the pillows a bit too firm. The area was quiet so we had an enjoyable stay.

− There are a few an issues that the owner should be aware of. One of the rear legs on the three seater sofa needs attention - we reported this to Georgia who kindly offered to get someone in to sort it out, but we did not want to be disturbed during our stay. The oven and pans were quite dirty and we did our best to clean the pans (acknowledging that previous guests should have cleaned better). The hob extractor fans were dirty and we cleaned them in the dishwasher. There were lots of cobwebs around ceilings and window frames. The downstairs toilet night does not work (we tried a bulb that was under the kitchen sink, but that did not work). The fan in the main bathroom does not work and, looking at brown marks on the casing, the fan may have burnt out. The lock also falls off the main bathroom door. Hob gas igniter has a fault that has previously been reported (according to Georgia). There is no hairdryer - there is one listed on facilities.

Although my satnav didn't recognise the address, when we found it, we were delighted. The location was ideal,, quiet, and the house was so welcoming. The tranquillity was the best thing after a 9 hour journey.

Good location. Nice little house. Additional storage and a good clean would have made it a more positive experience. Geo

Good facilities with dishwasher, kettle, toaster, oven, big fridge freezer. Plenty of dishwasher tablets. Good location.

− We paid £60 cleaning bill but the cleaning was poor. We pointed it out to the contact number we had and they responded quickly offering to send the cleaners back. But, we weren’t comfortable about people being in the house while we weren’t there and we left first thing Monday. We wanted the £60 returning however were offered £20 as the rest went on the washing of the linen. In the end we accepted the £20. Skirting boards not wiped. We had to clean oven trays and grill pan before using. Surfaces had not been wiped down. The shower in the ensuite was blocked with hair meaning you were stood in water 30 seconds after switching on. There was much soap scum etc in the shower.

The. Property was very. Good from a location point of view. Seaside very near and restaurants and bars a short drive away.

− I personally missed my sky sports but that was not a deal breaker btthat was just a personal preference
