Overall, my stay was amazing!

The accommodations and seclusion were awesome.

− Some touch up painting , light repairs, and some furniture upkeeps needed to be done. The entrance to the home is diabolical!

The view is amazing

− The pool table is falling apart. It did not have a cue ball for starters. It is very unlevel, and it is wobbly screws coming out all over, and it rocks back and forth. The hot tub was not heating up, and I had to add water to it myself LOTS OF STINKY TRASH IN THE GARAGE FROM THE GUEST BEFORE I STAYED THERE

Was not the trip we were hoping to get for the price we paid.

The view was nice, the deer were beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub even though the light from the street light ruined the whole vibe and couldn't really see anything but the trees in the yard.

− Driveway was seriously scary! Very sharp hard turn into the driveway going down a steep single vehicle spaced area. Not fun getting in or out!! On the first day of arrival we noticed a smell outside the house. All trash receptacles were full. There was even trash in the cans inside the home. I had to messaged the host and was told the next day they would tell trash pick up. And then was told it would be Tuesday. We arrived Saturday. We went to light a fire in the fireplace and there was no manual on how to use it. I messaged the host and was told.it was a gas fireplace with a picture photo of the switch to turn it on. We turn it on and no heat only air. We open it up and there is old burnt wood inside. No signs of a real wood fireplace , no tools for making a fire or any wood provided. This was a requirement for our trip. We enjoy fires during the winter. Part of the reason for booking this home. Go to the bathroom in the main room off the living room and the closet toilet has a broken toilet paper Despenser and the overhead light is so dim you can't see in the day time. There were several lights that wouldn't come on. The front porch light, the whole hallway, the outdoor balcony light and upstairs also had missing bulbs in the main bathroom and bedroom. I messaged the host again, they put in a call for maintenance. The maintenance man Randy came in and said he was told about lights, the fire place and a chair. We had not mentioned the chair to the host and he proceeded to show us a chair that had missing bolts. As if this was the previous renters unresolved request. Handiman fixed bathroom tp.despenser and finds several breakers in the house were off. He didn't have any replacement bulbs so any lamps and lights without light bulbs were left that way. The upstairs bathroom had no bathroom light or fan working.
