Great location........
8.0Helm's Inn is lovely accommodation and quite well located within Victoria BC
− I was disappointed that while my room was lovely and had all the requirements I needed, it was not on ground level as requested when I booked. With no lifts, a back that has regular physo and an added unhappy knee I didn't appreciate having to face stairs.....thankfully some other guests assisted me when I first arrived. In addition, I felt a little more interaction with clients at check-in would be nice, perhaps it was just my experience but I really felt somewhat of 'just another number' ........... no questions re if I needed to know anything etc., even when I asked re breakfast....the response was 'we don't do breakfast ' end of conversation........I booked Helm's Inn feeling it would be more pleasant than an apartment but it felt just as clinical sadly.
