We had a pleasant stay in Santa Margherita. The location is excellent – quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature, yet within easy walking distance of the town center, the seaside promenade, bakeries, and cafés. The large terrace was a real highlight and was perfect for enjoying breakfast in the morning or relaxing in the evening. Despite these shortcomings, we enjoyed our stay. If you are looking for a quiet place surrounded by nature while still being close to the town center, this is a great choice. With a few improvements, the property could be truly outstanding.

− There are, however, a few areas that could be improved. The supply of toilet paper and toiletries was very limited. The sofa bed is advertised as a third sleeping option, but in its current condition it is not suitable for sleeping. The mattress is extremely thin, and the metal frame can be felt through it, making it very uncomfortable. My husband tried to sleep there on the first night but gave up afterwards. If the sofa bed is intended to be used as a sleeping place, it should be replaced. The kitchen equipment is rather basic, and the bread knives were very dull. The bathroom lacks proper ventilation, and the windows were difficult to open because the wood appears to have swollen. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The clothes washing machine

− The kitchen only had one sharp knife which was blunt and small old fashioned wine glasses There were plenty of plates and pots but no toaster The place wasn’t very clean The grout on the shower was really dirty. The outside terrace was messy I had to sweep it when we arrived There were rusty bikes stacked up In one corner with flat tyres and uncomfortable outdoor chairs. The location was noisy There was a walkway right beside the terrace / bedrooms There was only 2 pillows for the king size bed. The checkIn process was long and seemed unnecessary A 2 page document to fill out which included taking photos of your passport and your self and then a video call at check in. There is a 50 euro fine if you don’t get rid all your rubbish but they don’t tell you where you can take it All the bins were locked next door to the property One of the contacts for this property was helpful but the other contact was extremely unhelpful

Good location and wonderful style

− There was a mistake with amount of lines so I had to prepare beds on my own, but al least the communication was fast and pleasant

Rustige ligging, parkeren, groot terras

Struttura azzeccata: soddisfatte in pieno le aspettative

Struttura in ottima posizione per il trekking nel Parco del Monte di Portofino, nel contempo ben collegata con il centro paese e il lungomare. Locali comodi e funzionali, ben tenuti e puliti. Ampio spazio esterno che, purtroppo, noi non abbiamo potuto sfruttare vista la stagione del soggiorno.

− Un po' macchinoso il doppio check in (e lungo il web check in) ma siamo stati ottimamente assistiti all'arrivo sia per il recupero chiavi, sia per il completamento della pratica. Da migliorare invece la gestione dei rifiuti: al cliente rimane in carico lo smaltimento ma mancano del tutto istruzioni e indicazioni per la raccolta differenziata e sarebbe utile ed ecologico avere a disposizione almeno all'arrivo alcuni sacchetti adatti al corretto smaltimento.
