− The place doesn’t have hot water and it’s not explained in the description. As far as the location is not the best they’re rolling down the street at five in the morning, selling bread and screaming about it. There are a few stray cats that appeared to live under the room as well.

The caretaker was kind and attentive, and the place itself was nice. It is also conveniently close to the airport.

− The attitude of the host. We told the host that the air conditioner keeps shutting off unexpectedly, which wakes us up in the middle of the night. They responded by saying we were the first guests to ever complain about the air conditioner and insisted that it wasn't broken. When we brought it up again—because we were asking to transfer to another room due to lack of sleep—they finally explained that the air conditioner automatically turns off once the room gets cold. Then, they suddenly told us we had to pay an extra 300 pesos for the cleaning fee of the room we wanted to transfer to. Out of nowhere, the host said they would just refund our payment and asked us to leave the unit. Imagine that—we were in Mindanao, at 9:30 PM, and they wanted us to find a new place to stay at that hour. It was clear that they couldn't take any form of criticism. I thought people in the hospitality industry were supposed to be more professional than that. We felt completely unprotected by their decision to kick us out over something we raised in good faith.

The cleanliness of the place and the owner and caretaker are friendly and approachable. A little suggestion please put clear and big signage outside of your place. Thank you so much. We had a great time in your place. 😊

Comfy and quite

It was very nice and comfy. We were really happy to stay there. I would book again. Thank you for your hospitality. It was very quite and no roosters either.
