It was clean and the AC was already on in each room having it nice and cool for when we arrive which was a plus after coming in from a hot day. The check in instructions was clear and if I had any questions the staff responded within minutes or less.

Notre hôte a été réactive à nos messages et problèmes. Elle a a chaque fois essayé de trouver des solutions. Le logement est très spacieux mais attention,une chambre (celle avec 1 lit simple + lit superposé) ainsi que la salle de jeux sont au sous sol, et on doit y accéder par le garage qui n'est pas du tout isolé ! Donc impossible d'y faire dormir des enfants en hiver qui se relèvent la nuit car même si l'espace sous sol est chauffé, ce passage obligatoire par le garage non chauffé et avec un grand jour sous la porte est totalement impensable. Il reste 3 chambres à l'étage avec des lits doubles mais j'aurai aimé le savoir avant car nos enfants n'ont pas du tout accedé à cet espace en cette période. De plus l'escalier menant au sous sol et le garage ne sont pas aussi propre ni entretenu que tout le reste de la maison. En dehors de ce point qui devrait absolument être précisé selon moi,la maison est grande donc super en famille. Nous avons visité NYC en voiture et bus (1h) , le logement est super bien situé de ce côté là. On s'y sent rapidement "chez soi" avec le confort et les petites attentions.

− La non précision des chambres au sous sol accessible via un espace non chauffé et non isolé. Il y a aussi des petits travaux a prévoir (mais comme dans toutes maison: des placards a refixer, des choses à réparer...mais rien qui ne gâche le séjour). Par contre on reste dans une grande ville avec des maisons qui sont mal isolées phoniquement et thermiquement (les petits radiateurs d'appoint pour le salon ont été apprécié).Heureusement les voisins du dessus ne sont restés que 2 jours car ils étaient très dérangeant !). On entend aussi les klaxons de trains (et il y en a beaucoup 😅) donc prévoyez des boules quies!

− Die comforter in einem Zimmer waren leider mit vielen Flecken versehen, da ansonsten alles so top war ist das ein Punkt der schade war.

The owner was also very communicative, which made everything smooth and easy.

The property was very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed! It truly felt like a home with all the essentials for a family stay

− The footsteps from the people above were quite loud. I believe this is unavoidable, it may be something beyond your control.

Horrible. No heat, hot water, dirty bedding. You have yo go outside in the cold garage to get to rooms in the basement.

The location only.

− Everything about this property is misleading. My family checked in on 2/6 to find that there was only one parking space in the driveway, when it stated 2. So we had to park the other car in front of the driveway on the street. The unit was very cold. The heat did not work in the living room at all and was very mild in the bedrooms. I called Jenny she told me to turn it up, as I already had. She stated it would take a minute. It took 4 hours to get from 70 to 73. The sheets, pillow cases and blankets in some of the rooms had stains on them and appeared dirty. The carpet in one of the bedrooms was dirty. Had hair on it and I also found an eye lash stuck to it. She did offer to give me a refund but it was late and I had 13 people with me and we were already settled in for the night. By morning the unit was a bit warmer so we decided to stay. Jenny mentioned it was an Arctic Freeze coming on Saturday so she would order some heaters to drop off with extra blankets, and she did. The 2nd day. We leave the property early. We arrived back about 10pm to find the house super cold. The thermostat read 66 inside. It took 6 hours for it to reach 70. We plugged the heaters up but they didn’t make a difference. The bottom of the front door had a big gap. The basement had a gap. We used blankets at the doors to try and block the air from coming inside. The basement door was also the entry to the rooms in the garage. You had to go down the stairs to the cold garage to enter the other 2 bedrooms which is not mentioned. We froze all night. The hot water don’t work well so we was left with cold showers or not showering. The hot water in the garage bathroom don’t work. My daughter is a firefighter and it smelled like gas. We asked her to check that out. Don’t know if she did. On top of that we paid $678 for 2 nights. When I say it’s worth about 75 a night. The outdoor to the unit don’t stay closed. And to top it off, she rented the unit above us.
