Perhaps we chose this house too hastily, it felt expensive when, apart from the proximity to the lovely & uplifting

− I didn’t feel any aspect beyond the location was above adequate. Washing machine needed replacing (we switched to hand-washing after one try), “parking” turned out to mean free on-street parking (ok for all but one night for us but our stay was in low-season, could be a problem when busy), too many messages after booking and before arrival (including a request for a €300 deposit which turned out to not apply to booking.com customers) when I really want a simple process after completing the booking on booking.com, additional tourist tax to pay in cash on arrival despite booking.com text stating that no further payment should be requested (I requested a receipt but one was never provided), dubious initial calculation of this tax for the youngest member of our group who turned 16 during the stay (I think he should have been excluded until his birthday, but he was eventually removed from the calculation altogether after some discussion), complaint about not having a (not broken) corkscrew took too long to resolve so we bought one (making the one bottle of wine we had expensive…and we couldn’t drink it on the evening we intended to - the house should now have two, one that was provided after a few days and the one we bought which we left there), shower rooms tiny and not well maintained (e.g. doors de-laminating slightly and bad build up of limescale), some loud noise from the hotel behind, no locks on shower-room/toilet doors, etc - it felt to me like everything in the house was done at minimum cost. Unfortunately what would have been a nice view from the outside dining area was partially obscured by a trailer and portable toilet (building works opposite) which were there for the whole week - nothing the house owner can do about this but it did impact that enjoyment of eating there.

10.030 seconds until you reach the seabeds, this proximity was essential for us. We stayed at iberortar Alcudia Park in May, but would never return to a hotel. This beach house is fantastic. Eroski and the speciality coffee is 3 minutes away. Everything was excellent
Room for improvement but still a great place to stay and good location.

− The size of the downstairs bathroom. The shower is very small and therefore uncomfortable to use. Aircon is not throughout.
