− We didn't like the fact that the host cancelled our booking on the day of arrival and only 4 hours before they could have officially checked in. This despite the fact that I had spoken to the host the day before regarding parking arrangements.

Appartement immense dans un ancien couvent avec plafonds hauts. Lits confortables. Accès internet fibre. Parking privé.

− Au bord d'une route très fréquentée (mais les chambres étaient à l'arrière, ce qui ne gênait pas trop pour la nuit) Chauffage difficile à régler. Peu de facilités aux environs : la voiture est nécessaire pour aller faire les courses.

Big apartment, plenty of space for a solo traveler. Good position as very close to train station (less than 5 min walking).

− The heating system was not working. Not ideal in the middle of winter. The company in charge of managing the apartment called me 2 days before my trip saying that the apartment I had rented had a double booking, so they offered me an alternative. When I commented that there was not a lot of choice for me than saying ok, they told me "of course, if you don't want to accept we cancel your reservation"...how can I find a new accommodation in 2 days? Even because I was traveling for work..so not so familiar with the area. When I entered the apartment the heating system was broken. And the apartment had 3 electric heathers placed around, definitely not sufficient to heat enough. When I called they sent a technician to fix it (pretending they had not noticed that heathing was off, despite a red alarm light blinking on the boiler), but when I went back into the apartment the only thing which changed is that I had 2 electric heathers more. Last but not least - the duvet on the bed was dirty in a very visible way

Very spacious also clean and tidy

The building was really cool with an interesting history. The location was mostly a business park with interesting buildings round about. It was close to the centre of Farnborough.

− The apartment needs to be topped up with things like cereal bowls (there was only one and we are a family of 4). The crockery was modern but too big to fit in the dishwasher. The cooker hadn't been cleaned before our arrival so we had to buy cleaning materials before we used it. The blinds for the windows didn't work properly so we couldn't put them up/down. All things that can easily be changed so there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the flat.
