Nice enough but house needs more care

The house in itself is a nice enough property with comfortable beds and sofas and is decently located near the town.

− Just felt the place and the facilities need more attention. Bathroom - door lock broken. Handle on shower broken so couldn’t adjust height - something my dad needed. Two toilet rolls for a family for a week? Kitchen - under equipped and cupboards smelled damp. Simple things like a plate drying rack would have been useful and things you’d expect in a usable kitchen. No washing up liquid (or any cleaning products whatsoever) so had to make a trip out especially to get some. Bedrooms - fine but a few spotlights needed changing. Lounge - tv remote held together with (sharp) wire. Really? No major problems overall but just think some attention to detail is needed as it all mounts up to a less than perfect stay.
