Ein auch wegen des schönen Wetters herrlicher Aufenthalt, den wir nicht vergessen werden.
9.0Die zentrale, aber gleichzeitig ruhige Lage der Wohnung ist wegen ihrer einmaligen Aussicht auf das Meer nicht zu übertreffen. Der wunderbare Balkon trägt dazu bei. Die Wohnung selbst besitzt modernen Komfort. Vor allem Wohnzimmer/Küche sind geräumig und mit fast allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Nur ein gut schneidendes Brotmesser und eine Teekanne wurden vermisst,
− Das kleinere der beiden Schlafzimmer ist winzig und mit zwei Betten so vollgestellt, daß man sich kaum umdrehen kann. Beide Schlafzimmer haben zu wenig Stauraum und Ablagemöglichkeiten. Die typisch englischen Schiebefenster lassen sich nur mühsam einen Spalt weit öffnen.
Second time and most certainly not the last!
10.0We left Sound of the Sea this morning for the second time and it doesn’t get any easier (it’s hard to leave!). We broke our own rule of never staying in the same place more than once for this gem of a place! As our second time here, it was just as perfect as the first. You can loose yourself in the view and the sound of the waves. We use this lovely apartment as the perfect place to explore other areas nearby as well as Ilfracombe itself (in which you’re close to so many places to eat and drink). Once you’ve finished exploring for the day, you get to come back, open the back door to the balcony and soak up that gorgeous view. We will continue to break our “rule” of not staying in the same place by coming back again and again! See you again Sound of the Sea!
