Thuiskomen in Toscane: een warm welkom en heerlijke plek
10.0Le Gerlette en dan specifiek gastheer Alessandro geven een compleet nieuwe invulling aan gastvrijheid. We hebben ons van begin tot het allerlaatste moment meer dan welkom gevoeld. Niks was te veel; van een met plezier gemaakt kopje koffie in de ochtend tot zelfs een afspoelbeurt voor de auto op het moment van vertrek. We zijn ontzettend goed verzorgd door Alessandro. Het appartement was easy going en van alle voorzieningen voorzien. 's Ochtends konden we lekker ontbijten in het zonnetje voor de deur om vervolgens of naar één van de leuke plekjes in de buurt te gaan of gewoon heerlijk in de zon (of onder een parasol) een boekje te lezen aan het zwembad waar de zwaluwen heerlijk om je heen vliegen. Het was een heerlijke plek en we missen Nero nog steeds.
− Er was niks wat ons tegenviel. Volgende keer blijven we nog wat langer om ook te blijven eten in het restaurant, het rook namelijk heerlijk!

4.0The accomodation is located in a calm, rural area. The host was very friendly and welcoming, even if he didn't speak English. Even if we didn't eat at the restaurant it seemed nice to us.
− There was a strong smell in the whole room and the bedsheets and mattress seemed to be damp, making our stay very unpleasant and sleeping almost impossible. Therefore we decided to shorten our stay and skip the second night we had initially booked. Unfortunately we cannot join the other good ratings for this property based on our experience.

10.0Stayed here the first night on the Tuscany Trail. Quintessentially and authentically Tuscan ! Alessandro was a superb host ! From restaurant recommendations, loaning us his car so we didn’t have to walk back for dinner to driving us to Grosetto for emergency bike repairs - over and above ! Accommodation is simple, clean and extremely comfortable. 1000% recommend for a great experience and an exceptional host - grazie Alessandro !
