Paid good money to be robbed
1.0Guys got back to the property after work to find a “technician “ who inspects the appliances .. they were not told he was coming. After he left .. leaving his half eaten lunch on the table they noticed several items missing including cigarettes.. toiletries and even clothing .
− The property was entered into without prior warning by and employee of the landlord and several items were stolen

Disappointing. Not as described or worth £112. Has potential if problems addressed.

− Not yet "luxury property" as some developments not yet finished off. It's a 3 bed house not "2 bed apartment". Couldn't "relax in private BBQ garden" as broken down side fence prevented access. Dirty bathmat & bathroom sink. Boiler (mentioned in previous reviews) not working, took 3 cold hours to fix. Absent ceiling light bulbs at back door & top of stairs which was a safety issue. Street parking could be challenging. Poor standard of cleaning as skirting boards everywhere & middle bedroom lamp & windowsill were dusty. New locking bedroom door handles were functioning but fitting areas not yet finished off. Gap between lounge & kitchen floor not yet finished off, it is a trip hazard & therefore a health & safety issue. These issues were reported to host by telephone. Apologies but no compensation offered.
An uncomfortable cold weekend
1.0The place was clean and tidy
− The Boiler was broken and we told the owner shortly after arrival, but throughout our two nights stay we had no hot water or Heating, which was very cold at night. If the property owner had brought some Electric heaters it would have been manageable, but he didn't. He did apologise to me and gave excuses for not fixing it, such as Technicians letting him down because of the weekend. It ruined a Birthday visit to our 3 year old Granddaughter, as we came to Kent from Durham, three hundred miles away.
A pleasant property, but poorly hosted.
6.0Despite confirming our arrival time, the property was not ready, and there was nobody there to meet us. After being kept waiting outside in the rain for 20 minutes, the host finally arrived to let us in. We then waited over an hour while the host washed dishes, vacuumed, and made up the beds. The property was very pleasant and comfortable, but the layout is rather eccentric (there is no running water upstairs) and the garden fence was broken and collapsed. On the morning of our departure, we were woken by the host banging on the door before 7:45am to "drop off cleaning supplies" - which struck us as ironic given how long we had to wait for cleaning to take place.
