9.0L’alloggio è stato davvero una piacevole sorpresa, ancora più bello di quanto mi aspettassi! Spazioso, curato nei dettagli e dotato di tutto il necessario. La posizione è ottima, comoda per raggiungere facilmente ogni punto di interesse. Un ringraziamento speciale al proprietario, gentilissimo e sempre disponibile. Consigliatissimo!
We wish we could be complimentary, but this last minute substitute apartment was truly terrible!!!
1.0NOTHING...and here is why! While we were supposed to stay at I _Like_ Sassari Apartment 2.0, WE DID NOT GET THE CHANCE! The afternoon we arrived in Sassari, we were notified by Marco (Property manager) in an email that we could not stay there, as the "previous guests had trashed the place". To Marco's credit, he had an alternative option,"an upgrade" he said. (Don't think so and I have yet to find the alternative rental advertised on any lodging site). However, we were grateful for a place to stay, as the town was having a huge festival and most lodgings were already booked. Sadly, the ensuing experience was a nightmare...the apartment building was under a lot of repairs, with our entry filled with scaffold material and debris and only 1 functioning rickety elevator. The apartment was on the 3rd floor, right over the busiest bar and street in town, where festival goers and locals loudly partied "al fresco" until early dawn making it impossible to sleep. (Sassari Apartment 2.0 was facing an interior garden) The door-lock did not function, the place smelled, had little or no water pressure (the shower was a dribble) and the towels were like sandpaper. But what made this place totally appalling and absolutely unacceptable , was what we discovered on the final day of the stay; why the place smelled. When we flushed the toilet, the filthy toilet water was coming up through the shower drain!!!! Disgusting, unsanitary, and to think we had been standing on this for 2 days!! We notified, Marco, who's response was: "He would let the owner know." There was no ,"So sorry for the trouble," OMG that is terrible," or "I will see if I can credit you something"....totally uncaring response and I am sure from the pictures of the apartment we originally booked, we paid way too much for the experience!!!! Not our usual satisfaction with our many BOOKINGS stays!
