− À notre arrivée nous avons dû attendre 20-30 pour avoir les clés puisqu'ils fallait faire un enregistrement que j'avais déjà fait avant d'arriver, j'envoyais des messages mais j'ai pas de réponse avant 20 min, il y avait des cafards dans l'entrée. L'hôte n'était pas présent, je ne l'ai jamais vu, il ne répondait pas à mes questions et à la place il demandais autre chose. Dans la salle de bain il y a de la moisissure au plafond au dessus du pommeau de douche et des morceaux de plafond tombait dans la douche, je n'ai eu aucune aide pour régler ce problème, et l'eau était glacée on a pas pu prendre de douche, le plafond fuyait quand les personnes d'au dessus tirait de l'eau. L'eau du robinet était super trouble, on ne savait pas si on pouvait la boire du coup nous avons dû acheter un pack de bouteille d'eau.

− Right when you walk in there’s roaches everywhere. there is mold in the apartment building , you can’t breathe. We were laying on the bed and a roach was crawling on the ceiling and fell on the bed. There’s dead roaches and alive ones everywhere. We were paranoid.

We stayed in this 2-bedroom apartment with a sofa bed and had a great experience. The location is very convenient — it’s a great alternative if you don’t want to stay right in the center of New York City. There’s a bus stop just around the corner, and the 159 bus takes you straight into Manhattan, stopping right in front of The New York Times building. Buses run approximately every 10 to 15 minutes, which made getting in and out of the city really easy. The check-in process was simple and well-organized, with a lockbox containing all the keys needed for the different doors. The apartment was well-equipped with working appliances, plenty of dishes, and enough towels for all five of us. The sofa bed was easy to set up and comfortable enough for two people to sleep on. Overall, it was a very practical and pleasant place to stay. I’d definitely recommend it, especially for families or groups visiting NYC.

− That said, it’s important to note that using Truvi as a third-party service wasn’t very convenient from a guest’s perspective. While it may streamline things for the host, we were often unsure if we had completed everything required by Truvi to ensure smooth access to the apartment. Also, while the apartment was generally clean, there were a few areas that could have used a deeper clean. We understand this might be due to the high turnover of guests, which can make thorough cleaning more difficult. Overall, it was a pleasant and practical place to stay. With just a few improvements, it could be even better. I’d still recommend it for anyone visiting NYC, especially families or groups.

Great experience over all my family enjoyed their short stay.

The apartment was very cozy and perfect for my family size of 6 There is lost shops and supermarkets to get convenient things which is needed and great value for money. It was amazing that we were just 15 mins from New York City and the bus fare was very reasonable great journey as you get to have a nice view of New York and a bit of Union City.
