The place was acceptable overall as the location was close to bus stops and shops.

− Attic room in the middle of the heat with small windows. We were given the fault for 1 of the windows' latches to be "broken" when we didn't do anything else, then opening it and keeping it open to make some air flowing. We left the room clean, and we left it exactly as we find it.

Great Two Week Stay With Good Location

Great apartment with adequate kitchen equipment, we stayed two weeks for its location. The apartment is up narrow stairs to the top floor(attic) and has two nice windows to open up for fresh air. We would describe it as a studio as everything is in one room. The bed is good, the sofa was comfortable and placed in front of a large tv. The owner was really nice.

− While we visited, the UK had extreme temperatures and the apartment has no a/c so it was very, very hot. After several days the owners did supply us with a standing circulating fan which we appreciated but it was still blisteringly hot. For relief, we would walk to a large shopping center that had a/c, and at night, a cold shower helped as well. On another note, the shower didn’t drain well and turned into a standing shallow bath as the water filled the shower pan each day. We determined that the drain was full of hair which we were able to manually pull out using a disposable fork and knife and an old pair of tweezers. It was amazing how much hair we removed!

Die Lage und die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel nach London waren gut, ebenfalls die Nähe zum Flughafen London-Stansted.

− Gleich zu Beginn hatten wir Probleme in die Wohnung zu gelangen. Der vereinbarte Türcode hat erst nach einer ganzen Weile funktioniert. Der Vermieter war telefonisch nicht erreichbar, Kommunikation nur über Nachrichten möglich. Das Bett war sehr weich/durchgelegen, so auch das Sofa. Ein Dachfenster war defekt und ließ sich nicht öffnen, nicht schön bei ca. 40 Grad in der Wohnung. Der Duschkopf konnte nicht befestigt werden, musste gehalten werden. Vielleicht könnte man durch ein paar kleine Investionen den Komfort wieder steigern.

L'host è stato gentile e disponibile, anche nel farci lasciare le valigie in appartamento oltre l'orario del check-out. L'appartamento risulta piccolino ma pulito e provvisto dell'essenziale. La zona in cui si trova sembra tranquilla e non pericolosa. A pochi minuti a piedi c'è la fermata del bus per andare in stazione o se no si può raggiungere a piedi in 20 minuti

− Purtroppo non c'è un tavolo dove poter mangiare comodi, quindi bisogna fare con il divano e il tavolino. Il letto per 2 persone risulta piccolino ma per il tempo della permanenza si può sorvolare perché comunque non è particolarmente scomodo. Infine per la posizione, può essere comodo se si viaggia per almeno una settimana perché pur perdendo tempo sui mezzi sai di avere tanti giorni a disposizione. Ma se si tratta di un viaggio breve non è consigliabile soggiornare così lontano.
