Beautiful accommodation, clean and tidy on arrival. Plenty of towels, well whipped kitchen. Brilliant location

The noise from the hope and anchor’s kitchen exhaust and air conditioning units kept me awake (didn’t bother my sister) and made the whole house smell of cooking. I always have the bedroom windows open when I sleep but had to keep them closed as the noise disturbed me.

Lovely property in a superb location, ideal for river walks or to pop into town.

The fixtures and fittings were very nice and good quality. The kitchen was a good size and was well equipped. The TV was nice and big and had some apps you could use. The location was excellent and we managed to find parking outside the property every day of our stay.

The lower bedroom mattress was a little thin but was ok. A set of tongs in the kitchen would have been useful when cooking, especially sausages. The extractor fan in the pub next door is quite loud but does turn off at night.

The hosts were very accommodating, property spotless, location excellent, view stunning.

Picture of the fox over the bed in lower bedroom. He seem to follow you around the room. Bedroom on lower floor was cold, maybe an electric heater would work. The extraction fan on the pub's roof was noisy especially on Sunday morning, especially with the window open.

Excellent stay in the perfect spot

Wye knot was exactly as described it was exceptionally clean and provided everything that was required. It was elegantly dressed with lots of considered detail. By far the best property I have ever booked. Within walking distance of everything you need and a view of the wye from the balcony. Thank you

Just one small gripe, which unfortunately the owners can do little about and bearing in mind were were there over the hottest bank holiday the UK has ever know was the good smells coming from the pizza ovens at the Anchor pub which due to the weather we’re going irking overtime and the overnight noise from their air conditioning units and the kitchen which back onto the property when the windows were open. This having been said I really enjoyed my stay there and couldn’t fault it in any other way.

Very comfortable, nice views.

Clean, comfortable, high quality property with great views which are benefitted by having the living space on the top floor. We had a very good stay.

It's a wonderful place. If smokey food smells are an irritant then you might want to think twice in the warmer months - in May the pub to the west (the side with the views and windows) seemed to have cooking smell and pizza oven smoke pervading the air through afternoon and evening coming in through the windows, and if we wanted to open the lounge doors outside pub food times then the sound of, presumably, refrigerators running broke the peace instead.
