10.0Very convenient location. We were on public transport. The AD122 bus all along Hadrian's Wall stops just a couple of minutes from the cottage. It was a particularly comfortable cottage - gorgeous rooms, wonderful views from all the upstairs rooms. Very nice hostess. Local people were friendly and helpful. There is a fantastic food shop in the market square and other good amenities.

9.0Great location at the end of the main town street,near ships,pubs,takeaways and public transport. Lovely, helpful owner. Well equipped and comfortable.
− Not much,bit cold in the front room snug without the log burner fire on,perfect once fire lit. Parking at the back is accessed through an archway passage which requires careful driving.

10.0Its location, layout, size, comfortable beds, beautiful linen, good heating and every conceivable kitchen item you could possibly need. The view from one of the bedrooms was spectacular!

7.0Lovely accommodation We had a problem with heating,but this was sorted.
− Problem with heating Rooms were cold,but eventually solved problem.Heating control will not work,where it can't pick up WFI signal.
