Never coming to this house again. We hope the owner takes these issues seriously

We chose this homestay because it’s a big house suitable for a big group—we came with our family, including babies. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.

− Upon arrival, we noticed a leak in one of the bathrooms. I immediately informed the house owner, and since it wasn’t too severe at the time, we decided to let it slide. However, this was just the beginning. On the second night, the kitchen sink pipe started leaking badly. All the water came out, causing the entire kitchen floor to flood. There was no mop or floor cloth provided in the house, so we had no choice but to use our bath towels to absorb the water and clean up the mess. I contacted the house owner right away and requested for the maintenance team or a cleaner. Unfortunately, she informed us that there was no one on duty that night. After multiple calls, she suggested that we move to another house—but this was completely unreasonable as our babies were already asleep. Cleanliness was below standard. We found rubbish under the sofa, the dishwashing sponge was very old, and no mop or basic cleaning supplies were provided. There was also no Coway or water filter, which is a basic expectation for most homestays these days. After the stay, I checked the Google reviews and saw that the same issue with the leaking kitchen pipe was already reported by a guest in 2023. It’s disappointing that the issue was never properly fixed. This house may be big and spacious, but size alone isn’t enough. Cleanliness, maintenance, and guest support matter too. We paid for a comfortable, stress-free stay—not to deal with floods in the kitchen and poor hygiene. Never coming to this house again. We hope the owner takes these issues seriously and improves the condition and service for future guests.

Location was ideal. Staff friendly, immediate reply.

− Both bathroom hose leaking. Kitchen cookware was filthy, except the electrical appliances, which looks new. Used/half empty shower gel, half roll of toilet paper, left over dish washing detergent without sponge provided.The kitchen floor appeared oil stained. Aircond in master bedroom not cold and the fan poorly functioning, ended up had to change room. Planned to cook for the night, but after seeing the condition, we changed our dinner plan. I've stayed in a homestay at the same location, with complete basic household amenities and cleanliness, with a cheaper rate where I rated 10/10. This homestay is definitely not worth the money.
