“Casa Amélie”

Quiet place in a nice little town just outside of Rome. Spectecular views over the city.

This was the perfect stay for us. We travelled last minute to Rome in May and could not find anything that appealed in the city. So we pivoted to look outside of Rome and get a rental car and we are so glad we did. The cost was 1/3 of what a smaller room without views in Rome would have cost. With the money saved we could easily afford a car and then we did trips into town driving to the Cinecitta station where Silvia pointed us to safe parking for 1.50 Euro for the day and the return ticket on the metro is another 3Euro per person. We got our morning coffee and breakfast in Grottaferrata and ate here for dinners at times too because you get a higher quality meal for half the price you pay in the tourist areas in Rome. And it is just so quite here. So we slept well and enjoyed winding down after visiting the busy city. If you are travelling in the summer, I also consistently seemed to be about 3 degrees colder than in the city. I could see the thermoter dropping as we drove out of the city up into the hills around Grottaferarta.

− I like firm mattresses and this was a bit on the soft side but we still slept well and would come back any day.

Ottima stanza con vista spettacolare

La stanza é di dimensione comoda, con mobiliario essenziale, ma curato! Hanno sistemato la questione del riscaldamento e aggiunto una pompa di calore, siamo stati molto bene. La vista é spettacolare. La zona é residenziale, per cui senza auto potrebbe essere un po´scomoda, ma a piedi si raggiunge facilmente il centro di Grottaferrata. Noi avevamo l´auto e ci hanno permesso di parcheggiare proprio lí accanto. Check in semplicissimo e ottima comunicazione con la proprietaria, che é davvero una persona squisita. Ogni giorno ha preparato la colazione venendo incontro alle nostre esigenze. Letto comodo. Consigliatissimo

La struttura è molto accogliente, con camere spaziose e con un panorama meraviglioso! Il surplus è dato da Silvia, la proprietaria, che è davvero gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi bisogno. I dettagli fanno la differenza.

Tutto perfetto: camera accogliente e pulitissima, posizione tranquilla e panoramica. Silvia è stata davvero gentilissima e la colazione con vista è stata la ciliegina sulla torta! Super consigliato!
