A home away from home - convenient too

1.0− I turned up at the apartment and the host advised that my booking had been cancelled and it was being used by another customer. I had booked a 4 day stay. She said that she had messaged me but there is no message in booking.com nor is there an email. I had a confirmation of the booking, a confirmation number, and a reminder in advance, and this email from booking.com asking about my stay. So, at short notice, at 4pm in the afternoon I had nowhere to stay. Very disappointing and caused me quite a lot of grief.
One word ..contemporary...host also was on point ..doing her best to make our stay a good one ...
