The apartment is absolute beach front with a maybe 15 min walk to civilisation.

− There is no reception, keys need to be collected and returned from a RE office, a lock box perhaps? It is the bottom of 3 stories and finding it is reminiscent of a escape room, we had to ask a resident. Clear instructions please. The 3 flights of stairs (no lift) are brutal and perhaps 10 % wouldn't be able to climb with luggage. It was very musty and should be aired out before stays, we had to buy multiple air freshener. No shampoo, conditioner or body wash, cheap but a pain to go and buy. Weed the garden / bad look !! Strict 9.00 AM check out is just rude given no guests coming in and the keys need to be returned to another suburb.

Dangerous conditions in good location

Location was convenient.

− Very ordinary access to the point of being dangerous. Especially in wet weather. Little to no internet access. No cell phone reception putting lives at risk in case of emergency. Especially when the fire alarm activated at 3.25am for no reason. Very distressing for whole family. No keys to security screen door.

If you cant manage many stairs book elsewhere

the location of the property is good right on the waterfront and a short walk to redcliffe parade , comfortable beds and couch and a nice rooftop pool

− Steps steps and more steps which are not mentioned in the property description , 6 flights of stairs to get to the unit and carry your luggage up and down , and as we had our 84 year old mother staying with us it was quite a challenge for her and anyone who has arthritic knees or isnt reasonably mobile , this was a huge negative and if I had been aware I would not have booked this accomodation but it was not mentioned at all . There were 4 adults who stayed here for 4 nights and we were only provided with one dishwasher tablet , one spare toilet roll , the tv remote was corroded beyond use although we did find another which had no batteries , there were 2 frypans one which was way beyond use rusted and scratched and definately a health hazard , the shower door in the master bedroom was misaligned and kept scraping the bottom of the door frame and being a huge glass door was at risk of flexing and possibly cracking which was a concern , bedside lamp in the second bedroom had no working bulb . When you are paying over $1500 for 4 nights at a property you expect that issues such as these do not arise , general maintenance checks need to be done .
