Not at all as advertised: grubby, unsafe, not enough of anything, owner very difficult to deal with

The location was appropriate for the family wedding we were attending. This is the best we can say about it.

− I have a 2 page document of faults with the property, and with the way the owner treated us, both before and after the booking. I also have many photos of some of the faults. Owner kept asking us for more information (initially individual names, then passport ID for everyone). Each time she said she would give us the key code if we gave that info - it was unbelievably stressful. As a result 2 of us were late arriving. Told us she'd had issues with other bookings where people had damaged the house. Made us feel mistrusted. When we arrived, it was clear they had not resolved these issues. So much in the house was broken, damaged or dirty (2 toilet seats broken, blind missing bits), duvet had sticky mark on it; carpets damaged and grubby; horrible dirty sponge left for use in kitchen; bath mats looked like they had not been changed between lets. Not enough towels to go round (bride only had a hand towel for her shower!), one mini toiletry item per room, not enough cutlery, or glasses (5) for us all to have a drink at the same time. Garden unusable - overgrown; bins overflowing. Health and safety hazards: electric socket coming off wall; door mat trip hazard. Contact with the owner since was even worse; eventually she offered a very small amount of money back but did not pay it.

− The back of the garden gate door is hard to open and close may require to fix it

The property was clean and comfortable very large house plenty of room lots of shops ,takeaways and supermarkets close by the property was just wot we needed after working long hours to go back to and chill out.
