Fourth House - Eclectic and fun 1BR in SPR

We enjoyed our stay after day 1. However, the decor is setup for millennials.

I booked this property mainly because of the 🛁 soaking tub, it was the HIGH LIGHT FOR ME!! The pillows on the bed were extremely comfortable. I loved the decor, WELL DONE!! 🙌🏼 just leave extra comfy blankets. Our over all experience was pleasant, the area was very quiet and the customer service was wonderful, 10 ⭐️

− The home is set up for millennials. If you’re over 40 and have NO IDEAL how to navigate TV’s with no cable or regular functions on the remote, this is NOT the property for you!! The bed was to firm and to low to the floor. No fault of the owner/host, we came during an unprecedented winter freeze and the 1st day was EXTREMELY unpleasant!! The thermostat was on a/c when we arrived, and it took FOREVER for the unit to heat! 🥶! If not for a body heating pad I brought to nurse my knee, we would have had to leave. The property itself was very clean. However, the throw rugs need replacing! The curtains and cloth chairs need to be cleaned and spay for roaches. I only killed one in the kitchen, but they’re pack bugs. Unsure what happen to the other forks in the kitchen? Need replacing. Lastly, the sink in the 1st bath is wayyyy too small.

This place was an absolute nightmare. Please read. We arrived late (~10:30) after a long drive. Upon walking in it smelled like cigarettes and wet dog. The sofa had dirt on it, the fridge was not cleaned and there were food crumbs all over. The comforter was dirty and sitting next to the washing machine waiting to be washed. Floors were dirty and shower was not cleaned. All this was fine because we just wanted to sleep, but pulling out the sofa bed it was filthy, covered with dirt and food (like grape stems?). And there were NO sheets, anywhere. No extra sleeping pillows either. The place says it sleeps four but only had one set of sheets on the main bed. On top of that, there was a draft in the kitchen and the window was BROKEN. Like someone had punched through it, and no one had fixed it! Also when showering you can see right through the window in the bathroom and vice versa. The window blind/curtain does not cover the angle going straight into the shower. We called just to get sheets to sleep on or get a stay in a hotel or just something so we could go to bed. No help was provided, just repeated “I will tell the management team about your experience” for over an hour. To “make up” for it the property team got us sheets the NEXT day and waived the cleaning fee. But, for a night of no sleep (cleaned until 2am and trying to find ways to sleep not on a food/dirt covered mattress) and a place that was an absolute mess, including a BROKEN HOLE IN A WINDOW, we at least expected a night comped. But no. We figured everything out ourselves, had an absolutely abysmal experience, and got a waived cleaning fee to make up for it. We have stayed in many airbnbs, vrbos, hotels, rentals, etc all over. This was by far the worst condition and most poorly managed experience. Worse than one where another tenant was literally arrested while my husband was there. At least the owner worked with us on that one.
