− Could benefit from some maintenance on exterior (requires walking up wooden stairs in need of repairs; towels very worn down)

The place was big and comfy. The parking was easy to find and park. The location was great with lots of stores nearby. Easy to access and most of what we needed was there.

− There was a scent of smoking or weed when we walked in that permeated the space. I ended up needing to buy an air freshner. So maybe some air freshners would help.

Good value close to New Haven

The property was spacious and clean. Entry was easy and the host was an excellent communicator. Having laundry in the house was super convenient. Thoughtful inclusion of high chair, extra towels. There was even a Ms. PacMan game!

− There were broken blinds and missing places to hang towels, which made the home feel shabbier than it was. The listing also wasn't clear it is part of a quadplex and that there is a chain link fence between the home and the water. Also, the bedding on the king bed is sized for a queen bed and had stains on some of the pillow cases. Not the host's fault, but there's also major construction on the road in front of the home right now, which starts at 8 am and shakes the house.

It was amazing. The folks that I was with thought so too.
