8.0Location excellent, close to sea and main high street. Nice outside dining/drinks area.
− Twin beds rather uncomfortable, lighting in twin bedroom minimal - either main light or sidelight, but latter no good for reading in bed. Broken blind in twin bedroom and leaking tap in kitchen which we 5reported to owner's pleasant husband.

8.0Fantastic location in a quiet leafy square, yet very close to the high street and beach with a pub within 30 seconds walk. Bright and fresh, the downstairs felt comfortable and homely. Recently refurbished kitchen and shower room, I imagine. Generally well equipped. Parking around the green was always possible. Given the size of the cottage we were impressed that space had been used to its maximum.
− The double bedroom was very small, with the bed pushed up against the side wall and with a raised bed end, impossible for the person on that side to get out without disturbing the other. This was not shown in the photographs and we would not have booked this cottage had we been aware. So we slept in the twin room which I guess was meant for children, low beds, no sockets or lights by the beds. Not ideal. Had we needed both bedrooms, we would have struggled. Given the price, we would have expected things like washing up liquid and kitchen paper to be included as it generally is in other properties we have rented.
We had a great trip to Southwold our 3 nights in the property worked really well for us.
8.0The property was in an excellent location with easy access to the town and and the beach. It had everything we needed for our stay. The check in process was nice and easy with lots of clear communication before we arrived.
− Bedroom with the double bed was very small with very low ceilings so a little tight and the main bedroom had two single beds so not really ideal especially as the beds were not very comfy and one in particular creaked a lot. The wooden chairs for the table were not comfy but we used cushions from the lounge so problem solved! Having said all this the property was very clean and had everything we needed.
