Peaceful
10.0Peaceful, so clean, as if we were the first people who stayed in cabin 3, decor fits the area, tasting room was not open during the week so cannot comment on wine
− Nothing, other than move hwy 290
Once in a lifetime.
3.0Liked this region of Texas. We like their wine. The tents were very cute and had everything we needed …except for functional air conditioning. .
− The air conditioner in insufficient. It barely made the bedroom cool at all. I have spoken with other people who have glamped in the summer at other venues and they had A/C designed to keep the whole tent comfortable. Not the case here. IMHO these tents would only be doable in Spring and Fall. Underwhelmed by the staff when we arrived. We were just told us to walk on a path until we saw tents. Finally one staff member showed us which tent we would occupy, opened it up and turned on the A/C and did his best to pull the canvas around the sleeping area. Also the venue is just off of a busy highway.
It was ok, but would probably not return
7.0Accommodations
− Road noise was bad; no staff on site; tasting room closed too early, we never got to try it; kitchen area had poor lighting; bathroom needs more electrical and bigger mirror; outside stairs needs hand rail
Great experience, would definitely come back
8.0We loved this experience with my son. The tent is beautiful. We were lucky enough to be just the two of us in the whole campground. We had a fire and bbq and a very good time. Mark came to help with the fridge that i probably turned off inadvertently and went to get us some ice for the wine! Thanks again for coming! We d love to be back in the wine county
− You need to put the winery in for the gps, the address took me someplace further away in the woods. The AC works great but is very loud. We can hear the road. The water from the shower was very cool. You guys need to put more fire starters for your guests but all in all great job!
