It has a lovely yard and porch swing in a quiet neighborhood. Semi private..

The owner scheduled a tree to be cut down on the second morning of our stay. At 8am Dominion Energy was knocking on the door to cut the power to the house. We had intended on enjoying our day and laying out. That was all ruined when the power was shut off and left off for 6 hours and 10 large diesel trucks were left running out front for on and off two hours. What a rude inconsiderate thing to do..you rent this place out knowing you paid to have a gigantic tree cut down. They had to remove the power lines to do it of course. And I guess in a way we got lucky because they didn't remove all the right lines and had to reschedule. Also the check out is at ten am and there is no early checks ins with this guy.. he full on ignored that request. Check in is not even til 4! So kind of a rip if you ask me. The first night a giant roach crawled across the living room floor. They left us zero towels!!! One hand towel in the kitchen lol! We found some tucked away in a closet. 4- for two people for 3 nights. I mean huh? What a sham. No wonder he's on booking.com this is where all the rejects go after they have scammed Airbnb customers.

So glad I was able to book this cottage. I’ll definitely book here again!

Clean, comfortable, great fenced in yard for the pups. It had everything we needed. The location was perfect, nice neighborhood with a short drive to downtown and everywhere. I would definitely stay here again

No fault of the owner but I wish the backyard had more grass and less dirt. The dogs dragged in a lot! Also, the pet fee was pretty high.

Great location for us.

Kitchen appliances were too high tech for us. But we never used them before.

Comfy, cozy, & clean!

We went down for the Shrimp Fest. We were able to walk to a trolly that took us to festival. Comfy, clean & master bed was esp comfy! We went down for the Shrimp Fest. We were able to walk to a trolly that took us to festival. We also went to Cypress Park and saw 3-4 gators. On the Sand Beach we found a lot of sharks teeth (esp tiny ones). Huntington Island light house was closed, but we enjoyed the beauty of winding roads & moss trees on the way in/out (ran over a snake :/). The beach is beautiful but no luck on shark teeth or shells (broken). We did go to Fort Frederick preserve, not much left of the structure. The scenery is beautiful & we found 2 conch shells w/ critters crawling out. The company renting made it a smooth transition by using a key pad at front door. However, we really missed the southern hospitality typically given by the owners that rent out. Make sure you visit the farmers market, look for Hank's Lowcountry stand & get a huge crabcake w/ some yummy sauce!!

It was close to parris island

On the website it said in one bedroom there was a king bed a queen and a pull out couch, and the second bedroom there was a queen bed and pull out couch it was supposed to have six beds and only had two beds and a pull out. I had myself my husband my sons girlfriend three babies under three and when my son graduated he stayed one night we had seven people sleeping in two beds. There was a bullet hole in living room window side window was cracked. We were only left one trash bag for five nights.
