Fanstastic escape from busy city lives

Everything was amazing, location, amenities, utilities etc. there’s everything you need until last detail

− We loved everything in the property. In the town there were no pubs where kids would be allowed, that was a bit disappointing, even for a lunch we couldn’t go to the pub

Lovely riverside lodge, bargain price

Great price for a lovely lodge, right by the river. Plenty of bits and bobs to make the stay comfortable, air fryer, fancy coffee machine, radio, hairdryer, good shower pressure etc! We didn't have time to walk into Builth but it looks like it would've been a nice easy walk, the drive was a few minutes

− One of the double bedrooms was quite tight and there was only 1 roll of toilet paper for 4 of us for 2 nights.

A peaceful and calm little hideaway.

The property was beautifully presented upon arrival, clean and welcoming. The lake was very calming and we loved hearing the sheep in the field opposite. Our hosts were lovely whenever we communicated.

Nice enough place to stay with beautiful view of the stream.

The fact it had a beautiful view. Plenty of heaters if you get cold.

− Property needs some TLC, we didn’t sleep in the bed because there was hard gritty bits on the bottom sheet. Windows needed cleaning and there was dog hair on the couch. Outside could do with a tidy up and a paint. Number of property needs to be made clearer.

Fantastic riverside location with great local amenities

Well kitted out with everything you need, from hairdryer to fluffy towels and board games, the location is amazing with the river right next to the cabin and you really feel the natural environment around you, the local village is also well equipped with everything you need including petrol station, supermarket, cinema, lovely cafe’s and a superb riverside walk

Location, views very dog friendly, easy access. Comfortable accommodation with everything qe needed.

− Maybe some toiletries so we don't have to bring them for a short stay. Also the heating turned off in the night meaning I woke up a little cold both mornings.
